Founded by Tunga Sukhbat Watt, CFA, in 2012, Tun Consult emerged from her extensive experience in banking and business development, where she identified a critical gap in Financial Planning & Analysis across many businesses globally.

Determined to bridge this gap, Tun Consult has successfully delivered over 100 projects since its inception for businesses spanning technology, transport and logistics, manufacturing, agribusiness, infrastructure, and financial services—from start-ups and SMEs to multinational corporations operating across Central Asia, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America.

Tunga and I worked as a team in an assignment to develop guidelines and recommendations for strengthening the reserve and liquidity management of Social Insurance Fund of Mongolia within the World Bank Program. Tunga worked as a lead consultant to develop an integrated financing strategy for mobilising and aligning financing for Mongolia’s sustainable development priorities and enhancing coherence among strategies and policies under the Integrated National Financing Framework. She reviewed and finalised the strategy leading other technical experts, and multistakeholder consultations. Her expertise in private sector financing covering financial and capital markets, industry value chains, export and trade, PPP and infrastructure development were particularly useful in conducting capacity assessments, identifying financing gaps, binding constraints and risk factors, and providing solutions. Mongolia is one of the first countries to have launched the financing strategy developed within Integrated National Financing Framework and Tunga’s contribution to this achievement was substantial.
