Tun Consult also works with governments to build and maintain sound, effective, transparent, and accountable public fund management systems.
Designing and managing a fund is a challenging aspect of transparent and strong delivery in developing countries to better address development needs and provide efficient and effective public services to their citizens. Legal, institutional and operational aspects must be designed, along with care in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation framework.
Tun Consult and Tunga Sukhbat, CFA’s works include development of guidelines to strengthen reserve and liquidity management of Social Insurance Fund (SIF) of Mongolia, assessment of research and university funding mechanisms in Mongolia including Science Technology Foundation, university endowment funds, VC funds and Student Loan Fund, and preliminary design of Loan Guarantee Fund for Mongolia as a SME support and risk diversification mechanism.
We also conducted the science sector expenditure review of Mongolia for UNDP developing the assessment framework and recommendations on program and policy reforms within the introductory framework of SDG aligned budgeting to the sector.
